Decadent Brownies with Chocolate Shop Wine Sauce


1 cups semisweet chocolate chips (about 12 ounces)
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into 1-inch pieces (plus more to grease the pan)
5 ounces unsweetened chocolate (baker's chocolate), chopped
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
3/4 cup all purpose flour
Chocolate Shop Wine Sauce (recipe below)

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 9x9 inch metal pan with foil, leaving a 1-inch overhang. Grease foil with butter.

Combine 1 cup chocolate chips, butter and 5 ounces unsweetened chocolate in large, heavy bottom saucepan. Stir over low heat until all of the chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat. Whisk in sugar, eggs and flour. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake brownies until knife inserted into center comes out with moist crumbs attached, about 45 minutes. Cool on wire rack (about 1 hour).

Chocolate Shop Wine Sauce

6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
2 tablespoons whipping cream
1 tablespoon Chocolate Shop Wine

Place all ingredients into a saucepan on low heat. Stir constantly until melted. Cool slightly and pour Chocolate Shop Wine Sauce on brownies and serve.
